Killian Mbappe is in great form on the field. Failing to change sides at the start of the season, he was going through a bit of a bad time, failing to score in a penalty shootout for France at Euro. He has overcome the situation in the last two months. He has contributed 21 goals in the last 11 matches for the club and the country. That great form has made Mbappe confident even off the field. Mbappe has launched a comic book based on his autobiography. Name J. Mapel Killian.
He tells the story of his upbringing in a book called ‘My Name is Killian’. A picture has become quite popular on social media after the light spread through Monaco. Mbappe went to Real Madrid’s academy at the age of 14. There he met his role model Cristiano Ronaldo and took a picture. Zinedine Zidane gave that famous picture!
After winning the World Cup in 2018, France has become the norm for the new generation. He has come up with a comic describing his life to inspire teenagers. The 233-page book with comics draws on the pharaoh’s upbringing at the academy, his joining PSG, and his parents’ discussions with PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi.
In the comics, the 14-year-old Mbappe’s visit to Real’s academy Valdebas and meeting his dream star Ronaldo is covered in several pages. In the comics, Mbappe is seen telling his father that the day he visited Real Madrid and met Ronaldo and Zidane was the best day of his life. It was there that Zidane drove Mbappe to the academy. Mbappe met Ronaldo after visiting the academy. And Zidane took pictures of these two.
The comics also show the story of MBAP joining PSG. In 2016, both Real Madrid and PSG wanted to take on Mbappe. Monaco’s vice-president Vadim Vasilyev then told Mbappe’s family that it would be foolish for PSG to return the offer. As shown in the comics, Mbappe wanted to go to Real. But Nasser al-Khelaifi of the PSG has taken him to the PSG, bypassing the financial compatibility policy, it was also reported in a joking tone. The book also states that Mbappe and his mother were told by PSG that 18-year-old Mbappe would receive 18 million euros a year without a bonus.
