Guinness Book of World Records, reception for housewife Nipa from Barisal

Nusrat Jahan Nipa, a housewife from Barisal, has been given a reception for setting a Guinness Book of World Records by constructing a tower with 71 coins in one hand. The reception was organized by Maulana Bhasani Library on Friday afternoon.

Apart from Nusrat Jahan Nipa, the reception was presided over by Dewan Abdur Rashid Nilu, President of the Library. Jiban Krishna Dey, Chief Adviser of the Library, Subhash Chandra Bipra Vedanti, Lawyer and Arifur Rahman Miraj, Finance Secretary of the Library were also present. Nipa was greeted with flowers at the event setting a world record.

Guests on the occasion said that Nipa has shown the way for the liberation of women in Bangladesh. This achievement of Nipper will inspire everyone.

Nipa tried to build a tower by arranging coins on metal coins with one hand in an attempt to do something new in the life of a housekeeper. He sent such a video to the Guinness Book of World Records on September 24. After examining the video evidence, the record-breaking organization Guinness World Records accepted Nipper’s application in a letter on November 30, stating that he now owns the “Most Coin Stranded in a Tower” record.

Nipa received the world record certificate of ‘Most Coin Stranded in a Tower’ by post on 21st December. She is the only daughter of Barisal politician Dewan Abdur Rashid Nilu and wife of a banker.

Incidentally, before Nipper, in 2015, Silvio Saba of Italy set a world record by building a tower with 79 coins in one hand in one minute. After 6 years, breaking the Italian record, now Nipa of Barisal owns the record of ‘Most Coin Stranded in a Tower’.
