Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has tested coronavirus positive and is admitted to All India Medical Sciences Institute (AIIMS) Delhi. Arjun Meghwal is Minister of State of the Union in Water Resources Ministry. He is the fourth Union minister to have tested coronavirus positive.
“On getting the initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got myself tested. The first test was negative, the second test came positive today. I am fine but have been admitted to AIIMS on medical advice. I request that those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please take care of your health,” Arjun Meghwal said in a tweet.
Union Agriculture Minister Kailash Chaudhary also tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday. He is receiving treatment at Jodhpur hospital. Meanwhile, at Medanta Hospital in the gurugram of Haryana, Home Minister Amit Shah is undergoing treatment for coronavirus. On August 2 Amit Shah screened positively for the novel virus. On August 4, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan tested coronavirus positive. Pradhan was also admitted into Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital.
