One of the victim women has filed a case in this incident. According to the case file, the four women went out to collect garbage around 10:30 am on Monday. At one point, when they got thirsty, they entered a shop in Bawa Chawkbazar. When they went there and asked for water, the shop owner complained that they had come to the shop with the intention of stealing. At one point, people gathered around the shop owner shouting.
The woman complained that the locals stripped her naked and walked around the market. At this time they were beaten. Videos were even captured naked. They were later released at the request of family members of the four women and a few pedestrians.
The plaintiffs in the case said, “The accused in the case have done extreme injustice by stripping us naked and torturing us in the market.” We have to take strong action against them. “
