In addition, WHO member countries have decided to conduct a fair investigation into the role of the World Health Organization in preventing corona infection.
India gets WHO Executive Board Chairman
India will replace Japan in this body of WHO. Currently, Dr. Hiroki Nakatani of Japan is a member of the Executive Board. Apart from India, Botswana, Colombia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Oman, Republic of Korea, Russia and Britain have got a place in this board. India has this important responsibility coming at a time when there is a tussle between China and America regarding the Corona virus. America is angry with China for not giving the correct information of Corona virus infection and is demanding action in this matter. Countries like Australia and Canada are also demanding an inquiry against China in this case.
For the first time in the history of the World Health Organization, the World Health Assembly was held in Geneva on 18–19 May via teleconferencing. In this assembly, there was a discussion on how to effectively deal with the corona virus, which has so far infected 47 lakh people worldwide and killed more than three lakh people.
