Samsung’s mysterious phones – will be targeted in the Chinese market

In last month, the upgraded version of Galaxy S9 devices was confirmed. Samsung Electronics is preparing to launch new variant flagship phone – Galaxy S9, primarily for the Chinese market. Korea Herald noticed the information from a Samsung official that the company has a plan to launch a series of devices which are advanced than the Galaxy S9.

The provided information is vague, so it is confusing to comment on any steps of Samsung including the prices and specifications of the new device. As many analysts were claiming the lower-end devices with the same specifications or high-end devices with higher prices.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be hitting the Chinese market with the variant models which will influence the mid-range market significantly, said the officials.

Some of the third party media outlets are claiming that these variant models are not for the Galaxy S9, but it is for the S8. According to them, the company didn’t launch any lite or low-end devices with the specifications of S8 in the Chinese market. hence, the company will unveil it after the launch of Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.

Earlier, Samsung handset of model number SM-G8750 was spotted. It supported the launch of ‘lite’ or ‘mini’ Galaxy S9. The company has launched pro version of S3, S4, and S5, but didn’t launch for S6, S7, and S8. By launching new ‘mini’ or ‘pro’ devices for S8 or S9, the company will be resuming their tradition of the lower-end devices with higher specifications.

Many of them claimed that this device will be having octa-core Snapdragon 660 processors and 4 Gb RAM. and will be running on 8.0.0 and 5.8 display.

In 2017, Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo gained the largest market share in the smartphones market. Additionally, Apple gained the significant share, while Samsung was at number eight as per the top rankers of the smartphones market.
However, if it is ‘mini’ version of S8, then the question will arise that why the company is now unveiling the new device after the launch of S9 and S9 Plus.
