Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has slammed the BJP government for not mentioning the name of the late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at a function in Delhi on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the event. “I salute the heroic warriors of 1971 on behalf of the whole nation,” he wrote in a notebook for visitors. The people of the country are proud of the heroic warriors who have composed the incomparable ballads of valor and semen. ‘

The Prime Minister further wrote, “The country will forever be indebted to those who gave their lives for the country. The heroism of the martyrs will inspire every generation. The country remembers each of them with respect. ‘

AK Antony, a veteran Congress leader and former Indian defense minister, made the remarks in the presence of party leader Sonia Gandhi at the Congress-organized Golden Jubilee celebrations of Bangladesh’s independence on Wednesday. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence, the Congress president formed a committee headed by Anthony. Over the years, the committee has organized various programs in this regard in different states.

Speaking on Wednesday, AK Antony said, “After the war victory of 1971 and the establishment of independent Bangladesh, leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee called Indira Gandhi ‘Durga’. Many other opposition leaders described Indira as a “force”.

But for once in a year in so many programs, I have not heard a single word of praise about Indira Gandhi from anyone in this government! It hurt me. ” Congress chief Sonia Gandhi said on the occasion that 1971 was the best year of Indira Gandhi’s life.

On Thursday, in both houses of the Indian Parliament, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence, the courage and bravery of the Indian fighters was mentioned.

At a meeting in Dehradun, Rahul said Pakistan was forced to accept defeat in just 13 days. That was possible because the whole country was one. Today the rulers of the country are dividing the country for their narrow political interests. People are increasing division among people.
