New Datsun rediGo releases cheaper, face to face with Alto and Kwid


Car manufacturer Datsun has launched its new facelift Redi-GO in India, and with this it has also become the cheapest small entry level car in the country. The new facelift Redi-GO has seen a lot of changes this time, and it now looks smarter than before. The price of this car starts at Rs. 2.83 lakhs. The new facelift Redi-GO gets two engine options. 800 cc and 999cc.

Apart from this, this car will also be available with manual and AMT gearbox. The interior of Datsun’s new rediGo is much more new this time than before and there are many good features in it. It has an 8-inch touchscreen music system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For safety, it features anti-lock braking system + EBD and airbags. Apart from this, it has rear parking camera, rear parking sensor, central locking. And features like seat belt reminder are also available.

The new facelift Redi-GO will compete directly with Maruti Alto and Renault Kwid. Alto’s X show room price in Delhi starts at Rs 2.95 lakh, while the Kwid starts at Rs 2.95 lakh. Alto has a BS6, 796cc 3 cylinder engine which gives 35.3 kW power at 6000 Rpm and 69 Nm torque at 3500 Rpm. Apart from this, this engine is equipped with 5-speed manual transmission. While the Kwid is powered by a 796cc BS6 petrol engine, which produces 48hp power and 69Nm torque.
