The latest report has revealed new details of the upcoming mid-size SUV of Mahindra and Ford.
According to the report, Mahindra’s new mid-size SUV can be launched in the market under the name XUV400 . The SUV, codenamed Mahindra S204, will be between the XUV300 and XUV500 in the company’s lineup. At the same time, the Ford SUV based on it is codenamed Ford B745.
The report claimed that the two new SUVs, the Mahindra S204 and the Ford B745, will share most of the components, features and technology. Both will have the same monocoque front-wheel-drive platform. Powerful petrol engine These SUVs will feature Mahindra’s G15 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which was introduced at the Auto Expo in February this year. This engine generates 163bhp power and 280Nm torque. This engine will also be found in the upcoming BS6 Mahindra Marazzo Petrol. Diesel engine will also be available Both of these mid-size SUVs of Mahindra and Ford will also have the option of diesel engine. The diesel engine can be sourced from the Mahindra Marazzo, which is 1.5-liter. This diesel engine generates 120bhp of power and 300Nm of torque.
