The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has made downloading the Arogya Setu software on their phones compulsory for passengers flying in domestic flights. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was provided Wednesday by the Airports Authority of India to airport operators, according to a PTI article. Right after this announcement, it was also reported that domestic flights to India will resume.
The SOP has also advised airport operators to make necessary arrangements before entering the terminal building to clean a passenger’s luggage. It should be noted that AAI operates more than 100 airports in the country
while private companies run some big airports such as Delhi , Mumbai and Hyderabad. he Ministry of Railways declared earlier this month that the Arogya Setu App is compulsory for train travellers.
The software was made available on JioPhone recently, too.
