In 2012, Cd Projekt Red shared one of his most ambitious projects: Cyberpunk 2077 . It was a title that would come just after The Witcher 3 but it has been in development for more than eight years and it is still delayed. This title was expected to launch on April 16 of this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC but the coronavirus interfered with the development schedule, so it was announced that they were moving the release to September 17.
Well now, once again, CD Projekt Red announced that the community will have to wait until November 19 to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077. As of writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished, both in gameplay and content. The ‘quests’, the scenes, the skills and the items; all the adventures that Night City has to offer – it’s all there. But with the abundance of content and the complexity of the systems interacting with the rest, we need to properly review everything, balance the mechanics of the game and correct many bugs. ”The company statement read.
Despite this delay, a typing event will be held on June 25 that will feature details of Night City Wire and some mechanics that had not been featured in past trailers.
